Student Support Team Workshops

Cara Shores, principal author of the Georgia DOE Student Support Team Manual and member of the Georgia SST Task Force, provides specific instruction on how to make the SST process run smoothly and work effectively. Topics include the purpose of SST, gathering information to determine the cause of students’ difficulties, selecting appropriate accommodations and modifications, procedures for referral to special education, and appropriate documentation.

Audience: All teachers and administrators

Time: 5-6 hours. Content can be modified for shorter or longer time frames.
