Aligning IEP’s and Georgia’s Performance Standards

This workshop trains teachers to align IEP’s with Georgia Performance Standards via access to the general education curriculum. Topics include writing an appropriate IEP, identifying standards that closely relate to educational concerns presented for the student, deciding how the student will meet the standard, making accommodations and modifications, determining participation in state assessments, writing aligned lesson plans, and instructional strategies for aligning.
