Collaboration and Co-Teaching

This workshop focuses on essential skills the teachers need to develop in order to form a collaborative teaching partnership. In-depth coverage of the models of co-teaching, roles and responsibilities, planning, and communication strategies is included. When this workshop is taught by two consultants, the models of co-teaching are demonstrated throughout the workshop.

Audience: Ideally suited for teams of teachers who will be co-teaching, but is also appropriate for individual special education and general education teachers, ESOL, EIP, gifted and others involved in co-teaching.

Time: 5-6 hours (can be shortened or expanded)
