Working with Parents of Students with Disabilities
This workshop emphasizes the fact that when parents and teachers build partnerships and work together, the students benefit. Strategies for building this partnership, conflict resolution, and understanding parent perspectives are included. The information was compiled and is presented by a teacher who has taught regular and special education, but more importantly is a parent of a child with spastic diplegia (cerebral palsy) and microcephaly.
